The Cricket Racquet was born on an Australian beach. Our founder, Blay, watched children struggling to learn with traditional cricket bats — too heavy for young ligaments, and too risky with a hard ball. He knew there had to be a better way to get kids into the game.
So he invented the Cricket Racquet: a bat shaped like a cricket bat, but strung like a tennis racquet. It's built from carbon-fiber and fiberglass composite, weighs only about 400 grams — roughly a third of a normal cricket bat — and is designed to be played with a tennis ball. The gut-based strings, with adjustable tension, deliver power you simply cannot get from a traditional willow bat.
The Cricket Racquet comes in three versions: the Pro, a carbon-fiber composite for serious players; the Fun Adult, a high-quality fiberglass composite; and the Children's, a smaller fiberglass version made to introduce kids to cricket safely.
Today we ship to Australia, New Zealand, England, India, South Africa and cricket-playing nations everywhere — and our store speaks your language, so you can shop with confidence wherever you are.
